Our Team
Began her second career in HR and Personnel in early 1990 when she joined Royal Mail as a Personnel Officer. Prior to that she had worked as a Social Worker and then was a small business owner.
Since joining Royal Mail, she has gained valuable in depth generalist experience in both the public and private sectors. She is now a Fellow of the CIPD with over 15 year’s experience.
Jayn is commercially aware and has a pragmatic approach to her work which is underpinned with an in depth knowledge of employment legislation and best practice. Jayn enjoys enabling employers to resolve problematical employee issues and thereby reducing their stress in difficult situations. Jayn also likes to be able to help employees who are faced with unreasonable or ill advised employers.
Jayn has been working for a number of years as a consultant offering outsourced solutions to SMEs, local authorities and not for profit organisations working alongside Chief Executives, Managing Directors and Senior Managers at both strategic and operational level.
Her current projects include coaching and training the HR staff in IND at the Home Office, providing an HR advice line to a firm of Chartered Surveyors and advising on staffing issues to several small businesses and employees in the Cambridge area.
Jayn is an experienced trainer. She is currently the course tutor on the CPP courses managed by Bradfield Consulting Ltd in Cambridge, Peterborough and the Gulf States. She also delivers various training courses for companies on subjects such as the different aspects of managing staff and employment law.
