CIPD Professional Assessments
We can also help with preparation for assessments of professional competence since the CIPD has changed the mechanism for upgrading your membership. Under the new rules you must undertake an assessment of your professional competence before a panel of CIPD examiners before your upgrade can be approved.
There are now three grades of CIPD Membership aside from Affiliate (i.e. student membership).
These are:
- Associate
- Member
- Fellow
In order to become an Associate you must be qualified to either level 3 or Level 5 and you must possess the required knowledge and skills to become a member at this level. In order to become a Member or Fellow you must be qualified to Level 7 before you will be able to sit before an assessment panel with a view to upgrading.
If you have studied with us, you may find that your learning has given you the knowledge and skill to be able to undertake the assessment with no further input from us. However if you need to boost your confidence or you have not studied with us and are looking for support we will be pleased to help you to prepare.
