Mark Fielder
Mark Fielder is our newly appointed HR Consultant/Trainer, based in our Dubai, UAE office. He is a Fellow of CIPD.
Having worked for many years in various HR and Training roles within the UK Financial Services sector, Mark moved to the Caribbean region, based in the twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago which is largely an industrial, energy based economy. From here he worked as a HR consultant and trainer for both public and private sectors companies pursuing localisation initiatives throughout the region. These interventions ranged from recruitment and selection strategies, through to talent management and employee engagement programs. He has built up significant experience in coaching, mentoring and training of management teams in both multi-nationals and SMEs.
More recently Mark moved to the GCC Region to continue his consulting role supporting companies in a wide variety of sectors to set up their HR and Training functions; HR policies and procedures, Performance Management Systems, Talent Management and retention systems, again focusing on the challenges of Emiratisation, particularly in the HR function.
His passion is to share his knowledge and experience with other aspiring HR professionals, particularly through the CIPD accredited programs. With the HR function becoming recognised in the region as a meaningful profession adding real value to any organisation's bottom line, he believes there is real scope to develop the HR contribution through regional consultancy support, networks, forums, conferences and training events, all of which will be initiated from the Dubai office.
